Pinstriped chambray in 60% linen, 40% cotton. It's a plain-weave fabric composed of colored yarns in the warp and white yarns in the weft, creating a melange effect. Its name comes from the French town of Chambray, where it was originally produced; its production was limited to dark shades, intended for use in work uniforms, so the dark colors could easily hide dirt and stains. This pinstriped fabric lends a simple yet refined allure, fresh and pleasant, making it ideal for creating casual garments such as men's and women's shirts, skirts, and children's clothing.
