"Blue Jeans" is the name given to jeans due to their distinctive blue color. The story begins in Italy—Genoa to be precise—where dockworkers, sailors, made their uniforms from a sturdy cotton fabric dyed with indigo, which gave the fabric its characteristic blue color. This fabric, produced in Italy and shipped from the port of Genoa to international markets, is known as "Genoa blue," or "blue de Genes" in French—later adapted into English as "blue Jeans." Over time, this fabric has evolved, and today we offer these brilliant colors: Light Blue, Hazelnut, Tobacco, and Orange.
