Twill is a weave that creates a light, diagonally striped effect. Historically used to produce high-end scarves, it has now become highly appreciated by stylists and couturiers around the world who find twill offers greater consistency than satin or crepe de chine, without sacrificing the discreet elegance and soft drape that only silk can impart to garments made from it.
