Viscose, or rayon, or even vegetable silk, is a semi-synthetic artificial fiber obtained from cellulose through chemical processes. The main trees from which cellulose is extracted are beech, eucalyptus, pine, corn, and bamboo, as well as soybeans and sugarcane.
